In-Home Dog Training Sessions
Our in-home sessions are recommended for dogs that need help with issues stemming from or seen in a home setting. Training focuses on issues such as: Leash reactivity, barking, resource guarding, crate training, separation anxiety, etc.
Each session includes a 1-hour meeting with a trainer followed up with a customized training plan to help you meet your training goals.
These training sessions are offered at your home and are individually scheduled according to availability. Late cancellation will result in a fee of $50. This fee applies to no-show or appointments not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session.
- Private, one-on-one session with one of our trainers, you, and your pup in the convenience of your own home. These lessons can focus on anything from basic obedience training to specific behavioral concerns such as separation anxiety or resource guarding.

- Eight private, one-on-one sessions with one of our trainers, you, and your pup in the convenience of your own home. These lessons will focus on developing more in-depth behaviors.

One-on-One Training Options at our South Lake Union Location
- Private, one-on-one session with one of our trainers and your pup. You are welcome to drop off your dog for these sessions, but we recommend being present so that you can learn some tips and tricks for maintaining what your pup has learned. These lessons can focus on anything from basic obedience training to specific behavioral concerns.
- Enhance your dog's training with five tailored sessions. Perfect for reinforcing skills and addressing behaviors.
- Our comprehensive eight-session package offers in-depth training tailored to your dog's needs. Ideal for thorough learning and behavior improvement.
- In-park training is best for dogs who struggle with healthy socialization or play styles. Your dog will be brought into one of our play parks with a trainer, who will correct unwarranted behaviors, but also facilitate an environment for your dog to learn from other dogs and play safely.
- If your dog is having a hard time in the park, one of our trainers may reach out to you to suggest this option.
- Training walks are best for learning proper leash manners, handling leash reactivity, and/or working through outdoor fears and triggers.

- Your pup will foster some agility skills in this 20 minute session.
Training Add-Ons
Treadmill Time provides mental and physical exercise for your dog, starting with treadmill acclimation and progressing to walking and running sessions.

15 minute walk: $30
25 minute walk: $45
A trainer goes into the park with your pup to work on problem behaviors such as socialization, fear-based issues, aggression issues, space reactivity, handler or object possessiveness, mounting, etc.
Private, one-on-one training sessions with our trainers, focusing on basic obedience or specific behavioral concerns, with the option to drop off your dog or stay to learn tips and tricks.

FAQs
Bordetella, commonly known as kennel cough, is a concern in environments where dogs are in close contact, like daycare. To ensure the health and safety of all our furry guests, we've established a 6-month Bordetella vaccination rule, based on consultations with veterinarians. For added convenience, Downtown Dog Lounge offers an in-house intranasal version of this vaccine.
Our training services vary in length from 15 minutes to 60 minutes depending on what you select.
Yes, our experienced trainers use positive reinforcement techniques to teach obedience, manners, and more. We focus on building a strong bond between you and your dog.
